Last week's Hot or Not seemed to be a split over whether Penelope Cruz
was an official hot chick or not. As for me, seeing her over the course of the week show up in Cannes and faithfully promote the movies she was in meant she deserved some bonus points for being a professional. This week, I'd like to shake it up a little bit after hearing that not everyone thinks the following actress is hot. I personally love her. So, I guess this is a week of you explaining why I'm right on the babe factor or why I'm a silly woman for being so attracted to her.
I couldn't possibly be the only person who was turned on her ear when first catching Rose in THE DOOM GENERATION, a bleak story of murder and love (which contains one of my favorite quotes on the subject ever, "'I love you; can mean a lot of things... like 'you'll do 'till someone better comes along,' or 'I can't describe how I really feel but I know that I'm supposed to say this,' or 'shut up, I'm watching TV.'"
) threesome style. I was, quite frankly, hooked instantly on her.
Rose continued to churn out crappy movies (Hey, who says a hot chick needs to be a quality actress? Isn't that just a bonus?) before joining the cast of "Charmed" as the long lost sister invented to fill the space that Shannen Doherty was vacating. Eventually she dyed her hair red, which caused me to lose some panty-wetness for her.
Back to black for the killer tongue-in-cheek Grindhouse throw-back flick PLANET TERROR, her full bow lips painted that delicious Cherry red (I'm a sucker for anything Cherry, who woulda thunk?) and wielding the short skirt and machine gun leg, Rose came full circle back into my good graces. Not only that, she won the affections of director Robert Rodriguez after his separation from his wife and is now set to star in the title role of his remake of BARBARELLA.
Am I alone in thinking that this modern day Bette Davis eyes chick could melt asphalt in the dead of winter? Or is Rose McGowan less of a hottie and more of a nottie?
