There's a joke I've heard that goes something like, "You ever told a joke so unfunny that they turned it into a CBS sitcom?" I don't have a lot of first-hand knowledge of CBS programming (it took me 3 seasons to realize that's where I could find new episodes of "The Big Bang Theory," having bought them on DVD and bypassed the trouble of scheduling the viewing into my week) and other than TBBT, I couldn't say if this aside rings true or not. I do know that I watched a snippet of "Two Broke Girls," a new comedy from CBS that caught my interest only because they convinced Kat Dennings
to be in it. I love that bitch to bits and clearly will do stupid things including watching what looks to be a lame sitcom (although on IMDB it's listed as a TV movie) with a blonde scarecrow co-star who has a head the shape of a peanut. Kat came out to promote the venture for the CBS Upfront event, smiling a tad, posing with her co-star (Beth Behrs) and not giving us the goods the way should always should.
