You'd think with the Oscars coming up, the Golden Globes having just passed and the popularity that Jennifer Lawrence brings to pretty much everything she's in, her appearance on this past Saturday's "Saturday Night Live," would have brought in some decent ratings. While NBC is touting that JLaw's episode brought in as many viewers as their Xmas episode featuring Martin Short and Paul McCartney, they still fail to bring up that the highest rated episode of their 2012-2013 season so far still is Bruno Mars, when he did hosting and performing duties. The second highest ratings still belong to Jeremy Renner, even if the people who rank the quality of the skits say that he was only .01 percent of a notch better than Jen was. I haven't seen it and I don't want to. I know how the Weinstein's work. Jennifer had just pulled in a Golden Globe win for SILVER LININGS PLAYBOOK and while her appearance on SNL had been scheduled further in advance to knowing she'd win, the episode was eventually going to turn into nothing more than an advertisement for SLP and the sequel to THG, CATCHING FIRE. Her bumper images for the show sure were super cute though, don'tcha think?
