Hollywood Gossip | Jennifer Lawrence puts the sexy in Oscar announcements

You don't always associate Oscar announcements with sexy, but leave it to Jennifer Lawrence to change that. Being that fresh and bright is a pretty tall order for 5 in the morning. Most people I know would become something akin to pissed off zombies after being stirred into action before the sun rises. Yet there's Jennifer, all rosy-cheeked and smiling at the podium. She is a pretty fine actress, though, so maybe that was just an act. I'll bet once the cameras stopped rolling and everybody had left, her head was in a pillow faster than you can say Michel Hazanavicius (my current favorite nominee name). I know mine would be.

But anyway, what do you think of your nominees? I'm seeing a lot of pissed off folks on the JoBlo main site. Lots of DRIVE rejection anger, lots of hate in general towards the Academy and their choices in films. Can't really say I'm all that surprised at the noms. Seems pretty much in line with what I expected. Nice to see Gary Oldman up there, though. He's right next to Sam Rockwell in my favorite character actor standing. Awesome guys.
