Does anyone remember "The Jenny McCarthy Show" on MTV? I wouldn't be too hurt if you didn't, because apparently the internet doesn't. It aired in the mid-nineties, right after "Singled Out" went off the air (I certainly don't expect anyone to remember that ridiculous show). Anyway, I used to laugh my ass off watching it. That era was the lattermost for great sketch comedy. It had movie parodies, perverted puppets, and even a mock sitcom called "Dad", where two friends argued over how hot one of their fathers were (who was really just Jenny in a bikini). It was the cotton candy of my puberty, and that was 15 years ago. I know it sometimes gets sad to see how attention hungry some of these aging sex-symbols get, but I don't think Jenny gets enough credit for making so much happen for her at a young age. She even had her own sitcom on NBC ("Jenny") by the time she was 24-years-old. But just like Pauly Shore, Tom Green or anyone else whose success launched from MTV, people naturally grew tired. But dammit, she still looks freakin' hot at 39. Jenny has written 9 books (wow) to date, the latest of which is Bad Habits: Confessions of a Recovering Catholic (released early this month). In it, she's said to get into some spicey, vivid details about her sex life. I hope it's a pop-up.
