For those of you who don't watch "The Big Bang Theory," you should. I'm not a television believer. Hell, I haven't caught any of "The Walking Dead" even though I can't turn anywhere around fanboy land and not be accosted with tales of its greatness. I didn't buy into BBT hype either, until around the time that the third season was supposed to be starting on CBS and someone pointed out to me that the first season of DVDs was at a super low price that I could justify buying. The show is smart, consistently funny and makes me wonder how the hell it's gotten away with being successful in its genre, seeing as how most shows similar to it would have sank and failed. I think it might have had something to do with having "Two and a Half Men" as its former lead-in, which makes sense as a hit since that show is a steaming pile of dog crap that most fat, stupid Americans are going to see with a grin. All my blathering aside, it was really good to see Kaley "Penny... Penny... Penny..." Cuoco on the red carpet for the American Country Awards Monday night. The actress broke her leg not too long ago after getting tossed from her horse, causing her to miss some show time this season. Cuoco showed the fresh scar while being interviewed and it runs from her ankle up her shin nearly to her knee. So she's funny and she's tough as hell. I love this woman.
