Can't say that I'm all that enthusiastic about the upcoming TOTAL RECALL remake. The original is one of the most iconic films of the 90s, with endless famous scenes and quotable lines. Plus it was Schwarzenegger at the top of his game and the height of his fame. I don't see how Colin Farrell can compete with that, nor how they could produce something better than the original - although dressing Kate Beckinsale up like this is a pretty good start.
I mean let's face it - Rachel Ticotin and Sharon Stone were pretty hot in the original, but they're no Katie Beck in super tight pants with the ass properly emphasized. And if Kate does a nude scene, that's going to bump this new version up to at least 2/3rds as good as the original just by itself. So maybe Kate will provide at least some entertainment value. I doubt it will top Ahhhnold's version though.
