I recently read on the back page of Entertainment Weekly, in that feature of theirs that I check first - the Bullseye - that apparently "we" should "stop trying to make Kate Upton
happen." This is the same magazine which once featured some Yasmine Bleeth TV show as being the next big thing... and I don't think it ever ended up airing. (Correct me if I'm wrong, I've spent way too long googling to figure out which one it was.) So, as much as I'm grateful that from time to time the rag has lead me to some good things (13 Reasons Why, a YA book by Jay Asher is a great example), I have to declare that I think they're totally wrong about Upton. I find her joyous bounciness fun. I like her body. I like her face. She's super young, so she's got a ton of years ahead of her, should she not go the Anna Nicole route (which is something I vaguely see happening if she's not careful, and it'll happen at a faster speed, what with the technological advances made since Smith was a Guess? and Playboy model). Hell, look at this spread she did in Contributor magazine. Tell me that's not a woman worth making happen.
