Katie Holmes is starting to look more like pre-Cruise Katie as she enters the fashion world

Katie Holmes has really been through the ringer in the last 10 years or so and at one point was looking like an empty shell of a woman. Dogged by paparazzi who wanted pictures of her with her daughter Suri (and/or moments with her soon-to-be-ex-husband Tom Cruise) and really a bit young to have to deal with all that added pressure as well as the pressures that come with marriage to a religious zealot and the ongoing trials of being a mom in general, I was fearing the worst for that former wholesome young babe who grabbed our hearts on "Dawson's Creek" and our groins when she bared tits in THE GIFT. Now it seems that she's getting her life back into order and starting fashion and cosmetics lines. This is a first for her and she's nervous but claims in an interview with Women's Wear Daily that she's "not afraid to fail. Of course not. She's got plenty of money to fall back on. Yet at the same time, the attitude is there to help her survive her failed marriage. Kudos to Katie!
