When you have an album to promote, especially one that you've sold on the power of your breasts, you can't let marriage slow you down. Katy Perry
was on hand at the BBC Radio 1 Teen Choice awards over the weekend, strangely breaking down into a brief cry of appreciation for her fans before singing her latest radio shit, "Firework." She explained her state to the crowd by saying, "I'm allowed to be emotional. Thank you so much for supporting me in this song because it means so much to me."
As for her new husband, Russell Brand, the comedian was in attendance with Perry. The couple brought a friend's kids with them to the show, prompting that stupid "now that they're married, they must want to start having kids" speculation.
