Everyone will definitely remember Jaime King when she played the sensual and beautiful character named Goldie in "Sin City". I didn't really know much about Jaime before the movie came but that's officially changed since then. Once you know that, it's no surprise to hear that she will next be starring in Frank Miller's new adaption of "The Spirit" which is based off of Will Eisner's famous comic. IESB.net announced the news and if you're not sure of the story, here is the run-down:
Adapated from the legendary Will Eisner's graphic novels, "The Spirit" tells the visceral, action-packed story of a man who fakes his own death and fights crime from the shadows of Central City. The Octopus -- who kills anyone unfortunate enough to see his face -- has a different mission: he's going to wipe out the entire city. The Spirit tracks this cold-hearted killer from Central City's rundown warehouses, to the damp catacombs, to the windswept waterfront... all the while facing a bevy of beautiful women who either want to seduce, love or kill our masked crusader.
It's not clear on which character she will play but she will be joining an already stellar cast of babes and bad asses including Scarlett Johansson, Eva Mendes, Samuel L. Jackson and Gabriel Macht. Rest assured though, I can't wait to see the movie and she's just another reason to anticipate it even more. We've got some time to wait though as it doesn't release until January 16, 2009 but I think it will be worth the wait for sure. Click here to see the rest of the scoop.
