I'm really curious about something. I understand that a lot of Hollywood filming goes on in and around areas of Canada because production costs are reportedly cheaper there. I can also imagine that some of our movie stars, if not huge yet, are able to go about their business not being recognized as much. But for all of my readers who are from Canada, is the reason why so much filming is done there really because you all could give a crap about who's "popular"? Kristen Stewart, while attracting big crowds here in the states for playing Bela in the TWILIGHT movie franchise, seems to be walking around Vancouver without so much as one guy taking pictures of her. What's the deal?

Extra Tidbit:	I liked Stewart in IN THE LAND OF WOMEN and ADVENTURELAND, but otherwise am unimpressed with her so far. I think she should stick to movies with "Land" in their titles.

like she just woke up in some of these pics... no one looks great when they wake up except for maybe kate beckinsale or megan fox but besides that no one does...

Maybe if she'd learn how to change her facial expression when shes acting, she'd deserve a little attention.

Seriously...watch Twilight and count the times she changes her facial expression.

And yes...I think we are too polite here to go batshit crazy over famous people walking down the street. I hope!

Well, it's rather simple...

...we are just to freaking nice to get up in someone's grill for pics or autographs. And that's not trying to play on the stereotype that we're all Ward and June Cleavers...we just seem culturally less willing to insert ourselves into the lives of our celebrity obsessions without permission from said celebrity.

It's definitely not because people don't care about who's popular. I think the reason she can walk around is that:

1- Most of Stewart's fan still goes to school and it may have been a week day.

2- When you're not looking for her, Kristen just look like a regular girl her age.

I like Kstew. People give her so much shit for no reason, but she's been in the hollywood machine for years and hasn't behaved like so many others. She's a regular girl w/an extraordinary job. I admire her for that.
