We all know that the animal rights group PETA is notorious for using sex in their advertising, and in turn, no one has ever complained. Today, however, marks the first time they've used the idea of "safe sex" to spread their message. This morning, PETA had a photocall the streets of London, featuring two giant cartoony-faced condoms, and who better to stand next to those rambunctious rubbers than Lacey Banghard? The point of all this is to spread awareness that condoms don't exist for cats or dogs, and you should have them spayed or neutered. Sounds rather violent coming from PETA. Who knows just exactly what the thought process was that led to including Banghard to the call, but I'm thankful they did. What really throws me off is that one condom mascot is pink while the other is blue… so one's a boy and the other's a girl? How do they go about getting it on (and do they need protection)? Too many questions.
