I was never a fan of super model Lara Stone, seen here at some event in a nice little red number. She was always the too skinny variety of model, which always made her look gaunt and sickly. Never could understand what all these fashion types found so fascinating about these sickly-looking women, marching up and down catwalks with their ribs protruding and their eyes sunken back in their faces. Plus, Lara has that thing where a neglect of dental work somehow becomes a signature, aka Jewel or Anna Paquin. Surprising then what putting a few hoagies down their gullets can do for an anorexic-looking model's appearance. Or in the case of Lara, having a bun in the oven. She's at that sweet spot where she's just beginning to show, but just enough so that it looks like she's just grown herself a few extra curves. Everything is filled in and expanded just right, making her look better than I've ever seen her before. Why can't they just make this kind of look the requirement for beauty in fashion? You know these women are going to do whatever they have to do to conform to what the standards of beauty are in their field. I'd much rather see models get shitcanned for smoking and skipping meals rather than sneaking in a few extra helpings now and then.
