I've decided that today and if this trend keeps up perhaps ALL Wednesdays will end up "f*ck" days. Why, what, who, how, when, where... the f*ck did these people come from and why/how... whatever. You get my point, right? For example, this article is my "When the f*ck?" one, as I happen to love Amy Sedaris and her bizarre sense of humour and even more offbeat looks than that other popular funny blonde Amy of the hour, Ms. Poehler.
The when part of the question is when the f*ck is Sedaris going to be embraced by more than just the underbelly of people who have caught onto her kookiness? If the smart, talented and quirkily good looking women of SNL get to have their shot, then why not Sedaris? After her scene stealing voice performance as Cinderella in last summer's SHREK THE THIRD, I thought she'd be rolling in the work.
However, I should put my reservations on hold, as she IS scheduled to be making waves as a teacher in the highly anticipated JENNIFER'S BODY, starring a topless Megan Fox and written by the newbie Oscar winner Cody Diablo. She's also in the middle of filming TANNER HALL, where she plays Chris Kattan's wife. (In case you're wondering where the f*ck he went, aside from the recent commercial mocking his NIGHT AT THE ROXBURY skit.) In either case, I can tell you where the f*ck Sedaris is at the moment - on the cover of Bust Magazine for their 15th anniversary issue. If this is the year of Fey and Poehler, I have my fingers crossed that 2009 is the year of Sedaris.
