There's a Photoshop nerd in me that really wants to come out with a criticism about the laughably simple process someone used to create these "art" shots of Bar Refaeli in the latest VS magazine. But I'll spare you that techno gibberish and instead snark on the decidedly bizarre trend of hotties attempting to tag themselves with lipstick like a NYC subway car. Can we agree that this is rather goofy? We see similar stuff happening in other photo shoots, like the one a few months back of Kelly Brook covering her whole naked body in lipstick. Obviously it's some kind of thing photographers get their subjects to do. Is anybody really getting off on that though?
Is there a lipstick fetishist group that they're trying to appeal to? Wouldn't you think that the majority of people reading VS magazine prefer their images of Bar without a bunch of pink lines all over her face? Obviously she's still hot, so no significant damage done there. Still, if you've got hotties spread eagle in their underwear, it's probably best to put away the cosmetics and just let that happen unimpeded.
