I don't know if it's true or not, but it kind of feels like Emma Watson is doing her best to offset some of the hysteria around the last HARRY POTTER movie with some more adult fare in more mature publications, like she's doing in these shots in August's Harper's Bazaar. It certainly seems like she's ready to move on. I think it can be said that, despite the obvious mistake with the hair, she is a beautiful woman. And she is very much a woman now, which is probably where some of the restlessness of the whole Potter thing comes from. Most of us don't have to worry about being associated with shit we did as 10 year olds for the rest of our lives. For those who do, having their adulthood recognized no doubt carries with it an extra sense of urgency.
Emma hasn't really done much of anything else but Potter, so her ability to break loose from any typecasting curse those films might bring about remains uncertain. I really hope she does make it past her wizard beginnings though, because I'd hate to see that pretty face go away.
