Not exactly MovieHottie news here, but you can bet that Irina Shayk is playing a starring role in my disturbingly healthy fantasy life right now. Irina is the 2011 Sports Illustrated cover model, information which apparently was incredulous to at first. Curious, considering that she's smoking hot and apparently Russian or something, which seems to meet the two prerequisites for a SI cover model.
I have to say that I approve of SI's choices in models. Sure they're gorgeous in a way that makes them completely unobtainable for any regular person, as you would expect from a publication like this. However, they are also fairly unspoiled and naturally beautiful women. Not a lot of silicone or collagen injection nightmares. They're fit, yet retain their curves. Not a lot of protruding rib cages. They are real people in the sense that they don't look like an bunch of melons stuck together, nor are they reminiscent of Nazi prison camp survivors. They often fall into that sweet spot in the middle, which offers something for everyone.
Basically, they're just naturally beautiful women at the peak of their physical beauty, rolling around in the sand in skimpy bikinis for your amusement. I like.
