These pics of Keira Knightly doing her best flapper impersonation in this month's Marie Claire follow a trend I've noticed coming from the fashionable types lately. I don't think it's a complete coincidence that, as we approach what could become the new low as far as global financial shit storms go, everyone is revising this old flapper look, made popular during the last global economic shit storm. I guess this is the best attempt at social commentary the fashion world could muster.
Also interesting in this time of crisis are all these movies and TV shows about the world coming to an end. Keria's got a movie in the works called SEEKING A FRIEND FOR THE END OF THE WORLD, which involves a time when the Earth is about to be devastated by an asteroid, which prompts a guy to go on a road trip to find an old flame before the end comes. Good to see everyone is feeling so upbeat and optimistic about the future.
