For all of the talk about Natalie Portman and her intense training for BLACK SWAN, most of the talk around Mila Kunis seemed to fixate on her sex scene with Portman rather than the work that the actress put in herself towards learning the ballet craft. Now Kunis is talking to W magazine about some of what she had to endure. "I had never danced in my life," she admitted. "I trained for four months, seven days a week, five hours a day. I had one day off on my birthday. I lost 20 pounds. I tore a ligament. I dislocated my shoulder. I have two scars on my back. And it was worth every minute."
While the work paid off in a Golden Globe nomination for Best Supporting Actress and a heaping dose of industry respect that she didn't hold as being the former actress from "That '70's Show" fame, Mila isn't looking to reprise the role anytime soon. "But I will never dance again. I'm a strong believer in mind over matter, but I didn't fully understand what that meant until this production."
