I've had to gradually grow into a fondness for Rashida Jones
. Being the die-hard lover of "Freaks & Geeks," I hated her character on that show and everything she stood for. The character, that is. The show reminded me a little too much of what it was like growing up in high school and the people I bonded with then. Since Rashida has grown up into some different roles, I've learned to like her more and as I read about what she was like growing up, that affection digs its roots deeper. Did you know that she wrote a letter to Tupac when she was about 15-years old, pissed off about something he'd said about her father (legendary music producer Quincy Jones) being in an interracial marriage? Sassy. And totally something I would have done at that age, had I been Quincy's daughter.
