If only the Disney Channel could concentrate on doing something other than churning out safe young stars in between the times that they're dealing out total junkie messes, the world might be a safer place to live in. Selena Gomez is a legal gal now, having turned 18 earlier this year and it's not as if I'm asking for her to start whoring it up Miley style, but this photoshoot she did for the latest issue of Latina magazine helps in a kinda-sorta way to up her more mature look. I can't be bothered just yet to want to watch anything she's done, but I'll slowly come around. I've got a feeling about these sorts of things. Of course, I get a rather itchy & uncomfortable feeling every time I look at pictures of Lindsay Lohan or Britney Spears, but that's not just me, right? Right??
