Are we ready for Michael Bay's TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES yet? Have you gotten tired of the relentless promotion that mainly features Megan Fox looking like an impossibly beautiful store mannequin? Fox took her turn at being interviewed by the geek squad over at Apple, showing up at their SoHo location, where she made goofy faces (perhaps to continue her quest in getting people to believe that she doesn't shoot up her face with Botox?) and discussed her concerns regarding her two young sons eventually growing up to see sexy images of their mother.
"I wanted to be a superhero for my children. They can't really see TRANSFORMERS, because it's too sexualized for them to deal with their mother. That's their mother bent over the car. We don't need to go there — maybe ever," said Megan. She also got into the issue of being pregnant with infant son Bodhi while filming TMNT. "I got pregnant 10 days into shooting. Total surprise," she says. "I had months left to film this movie. I was exhausted. I was nauseous. I was doing lots of running and I get thrown around. All the tough stuff was left to the other characters."
When the discussion turned to the public's opinion of her, Megan admitted that she's "terrified" of Googling herself but went on to say, "It's hard to upset me. In terms of being intelligent, I think that's a stigma that comes with being an actress. Some of the responsibility I carry on my own back, for the types of movies that I do. For agreeing to pose for GQ with cherries in my mouth. I'm hoping that getting older will work in my favor. It's easier for me to take responsibility for it than to blame outside forces."
After many years of saying all the wrong things, Megan is making strides with her foot-in-mouth tendencies. At least she's not coming off ungrateful or completely asinine anymore.
