Well, I'm slightly taken aback by this news. You have to understand, I'm one of the people who have been on the Megan Fox backlash train - but not without the knowledge that I know what her acting is like since I've actually watched all of the movies she's been in, so I'm basing my derogatory opinion of her acting talent on what I've seen her produce thus far, proof is in the pudding, so to speak - but I'm also one of the people who stood by Mickey Rourke when he was in a low place and people were tossing his potential to the side. I hoped for a "comeback" and was happy when it finally happened for the actor.
Well, now Rourke is coming out to support his co-star of the upcoming film, PASSION PLAY. Says Mick, "People say bad stuff about her and how she can't act, but they only say that because she's beautiful," the actor told the New York Daily News. "She's the most talented actress I've worked with. When she cries in a scene, I get emotional."
Well, I'm stumped. I guess if Mickey says so, I'll wait to see PASSION PLAY and see if that's where Megan changes my mind. One thing's for sure, she better be grateful that she's got Rourke in her corner and not speak ill of him like the others *cough*Hitler Bay*cough* who have vouched for her in the past.
