Geek Goddess Milla Jovovich went back to her modeling roots for the premiere of her new Robert Deniro/Ed Norton film STONE. I imagine she went all out for this premiere, as this is one of Milla's rare movies that requires her to actually "act" and not just shoot guns and kick the sh*t out of zombies, aliens, etc. A team up with Deniro and Norton is a good way to start to swaying her career away from sci-fi and into legitimate awards territory (dress up awards, not cosplay awards). Milla has definitely withstood the test of time, as most women in sci-fi rarely get the opportunity to play in both film worlds (especially if you consider she's been dabbling in sci-fi since the 90's). She still looks just as smoking now as she did in her FIFTH ELEMENT days, so I hope she does get a boost into serious dramatic work. It would be a sad day to see her reduced to signing autographs at conventions (next to Chewbacca) instead of acting.
