Never been to New York, so I can't comment from personal experience about what the cab-hailing situation is there. It must be pretty difficult though, if Christina Ricci, sporting a couple of full on nipple erections, can't catch one. Even dudes on bikes seem prepared to help her out. Not having been to NYC, my only resource for how to gauge the mindset of those driving cabs in the city come from the media's stereotypical images of said cab drivers, which is usually the fresh-off-the-boat immigrant or psycho gun freak. Evaluating those two groups, I find it difficult to believe that either would pass up an opportunity to get a hottie like Christina into the back of their cab. They'd probably pass up Wall Street guys and threaten to plow into one another just to get to her first. So maybe this was gay, anti-Hollywood cab driver day.
