At the start of her career, Eva Mendes got on my nerves. I couldn't put my finger on it now if I tried, but something about her didn't ring the bells that everyone else I knew was clanging about the actress. But in the years since she first debuted as a girlfriend/sidekick character into a full-fledged funny woman (who is still the girlfriend/wife/sidekick character, only on HER terms), I have most definitely come around.
Photographer Lyndon Chubbuck had taken several shots of Mendes for an art show that he had scheduled in Los Angeles for this week. Six poses of the actress - in the nude - were stolen somewhere between the printer where Chubbuck (how fabulous is that name?) was having them processed and the show which was to be held at Supperclub Los Angeles. He says he will be filing a police report for insurance reasons but has since had the images replicated so that the show will go on.
Mendes has appeared in the buff for different magazine publications, as well as a PETA ad advocating nudity over wearing fur.
