I've been catching some of the previews for this new Starz show Magic City, about mob guys operating out of 1950s Miami, starring Olga Kurylenko seen here at the show's premiere in an elegant little red number. The show looks fairly interesting, at least as far as Mad Men clones go. Starz series do have the advantage of not pulling many punches as far as graphic content goes. If you've ever watched an episode of their other show, Spartacus, you'll know that heaps of sex and violence is one of the keys to how they get things done with their programming as of late. This new one seems to be following in that theme, probably with a lot of wise guys rubbing folks out in nasty ways, then going on to bang hotties like Olga in pool houses by the beach or something. Might be worth a shot, who knows.
