Hey, I like Ellen Page as much as the next person. For some reason, there seems to be an uproar of backlash against her, from rumours of her being a lesbian (I'm sorry, but when exactly did that become an insult?) to the news now that she's dissed one of Hollywood's premiere names.
Seems Jane Fonda has expressed great interest in sitting down and talking with the latest Canadian adoptee of the American cinema. According to talk, when Page was alerted of Hanoi... uh, I mean G.I.... uh, I mean that old lady who got her shot at fame because her dad was famous, wanting to talk to her, the response from our little Juno was, "I don't give a f*ck." First she's one-upping Leno (although, let's be honest - that's not all that hard to do) and now she's blowing off Hollywood royalty?
Not if you ask Page's publicist, Kelly Bush. She claims that the two were able to sit down at the premiere of Page's new flick SMART PEOPLE and have a nice chat. Well, isn't that just swell? People in the movie business being "nice" to one another at a movie premiere. Let's record that as being a first in history, shall we?
