Premiere: The September Issue

To be totally honest, I don't really understand the world of fashion or why it is so popular all around the world today. This of course may be because I am in fact a man and my idea of a fabulous meal is putting sliced up hot dogs in my macaroni and cheese (Mmmmm....). Nevertheless, I am intrigued by fashion from time to time as it is a multi-billion dollar industry and to be a fashion mogul nowadays is to be like a god to anyone involved in the profession. Which is why the current release of the documentary, "The September Issue" looks quite fascinating even if you're not part of the fashion realm.

The documentary itself chronicles the daily life of Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour as she prepares for the September 2008 issue. You might remember that it's the thickest goddamn magazine on the rack (the September '07 issue had 840 f#cking pages). With any new documentary or film involving the fashion industry, you can assume that some stunning hotties would attend the official premiere and this was definitely the case with ladies such as Sienna Miller and Renee Zellweger.
