Rachel McAdams is filming her new movie about a woman who shows up at her wedding in a red dress and gets her bewbs wet in the rain. Sounds like a winner. As if that wasn't enough of a story, it turns out there's actually a bit more to the plot. Seems this move, called ABOUT TIME, concerns a family of time travelers who travel back and forth through time doing good deeds, whereby one of them meets Rachel and falls in love. Sounds interesting, although it's classified as a romcom, which puts a damper on my enthusiasm. That basic description of the plot of this movie is about 2/3rds of what you'd need for a movie version of Quantum Leap. All you studio heads busy scouring the past for ideas should consider making a full on Quantum Leap movie. Probably one of the best sci-fi shows of the 80s actually deserves the movie remake treatment. Apart from being a great story, it would be a much more worthy use of Rachel's wet, wind-blown cleavage.
