If there's anyone in the world who can make the mundane act of sitting in a chair look inappropriate, it's Rihanna. Luckily, it's entirely appropriate for us. What's the meaning of this? Could Rihanna sitting on a chair backwards be metaphorical for giving the president a celebratory lapdance? Well, actually Rihanna is serving as the musical guest on SNL this saturday, with host Anne Hathaway, and these are pieces from a set by legendary SNL photographer Mary Ellen Matthews. I've always been an admirer of her work, specifically when bringing out someone's "sexy" side. Rihanna gets a lot of attention for the negative aspects of her life, but those things, in the long run, really aren't her fault. I make fun sometimes, but I'm prepared to let go and just appreciate her as a person and an artist. I'm still not quite sold on her as an actress, though.
