Currently filming her next movie, ALL GOOD THINGS with Ryan Gosling, Kirsten Dunst is finally speaking up about the time she spent earlier this year in rehab. This comes on the heels of her being photographed leaving a bar with a great deal of help to stand. People were under the assumption that Dunst had checked in for excessive partying & drinking habits, but Kiki is trying to put those whispers to rest.
“I didn’t go to Cirque Lodge for alcohol abuse or drug abuse,” Dunst says. “I went there for depression." She goes on to comment, “It was a good six months before I decided to go away. I was struggling, and I had the opportunity to go somewhere and take care of myself. I was fortunate to have the resources to do it. My friends and family thought it was a good idea, too. But I didn't know where to go. My doctor recommended Cirque Lodge.”
Kiki is also striking back about the reports that she was fired from her job as the spokeswoman for Miu Miu, explaining that her contract was for 6 months and she never intended to extend it for longer than that. And lovers of THE NOTEBOOK hunk have nothing to fear when it comes to the new speculation that she's hooking up with him. Dunst is also denying any romantic involvement with Gosling. (That sound you hear is a bunch of chick-flick lovers sighing in relief.)
