Sandra Bullock makes her mark outside the famous Chinese Theater

Sep. 27, 2013by: Cherry Liquor

She's got an Oscar, she's still the number one box office earning female leading star and she's turning the big 5-0 next July, so it's a bit of a surprise that it took until just this past Wednesday to see Sandra Bullock just now getting immortalized in front of the famous Chinese Theater (formerly Grauman's, the Mann, now TCL) down on Hollywood Boulevard in California. The buff co-star of next month's big release, GRAVITY, was tickled as she received the honor, flashing her thumbs up to the fans watching and making faces as her hands sank into the wet cement.

Bullock brought her son Louis to the celebration and lauded Governor Brown's signing of the legislation being put into effect which will punish paparazzi who harass celebrities to get pictures of their children. "Today I brought him out because this is a family day," she told ABC. "It was the one exception that I make. When you go to school and, you know, the airport - the reason he doesn't like this is he's used to people running at him. So this'll be great. This'll allow children to be children. Take potshots at us, do whatever you want, but I'm grateful, I'm so grateful. This is a huge step and maybe we can keep going so we completely protect children." Many congrats to Sandy and family all around.

Good for her

She's not one of my favourite actresses (or hotties) but I don't hate her, and I've heard she knocks it out of the park in GRAVITY.

And good for the anti-paparazzi law as well. One can argue that movie stars and other celebrities have a certain loss of privacy as a result of their jobs, but their families shouldn't have to suffer.

Personally, I think the "bloke in the pub" rule should be the way to go. If your actions would get you punched out by a random bloke in a pub, why should it

Good for her. Not a big fan of her acting but I don't see any reason to hate her, and Gravity was good. I did find myself imagining if the other actresses considered for the part (Angelina Jolie, Natalie Portman, Marion Cotillard, Scarlett Johansson, Blake Lively) would've done better (that last one definitely wouldn't) but she did not ruin the film for me at all.
