It's a banner week for the hotties of the '90's. First we get to spy on Rachael Leigh Cook and her lollipop, now it's Mrs. Prinz's return to the spotlight as an advocate for literacy that gets some media attention.
Sarah Michelle Gellar was on hand at the L.A. Public Library reading to some young tots in conjunction with her participation with "The Nestle Share the Joy of Reading Program" in hopes of encouraging reading amongst youth. The Nestle charity is donating up to $250,000 to Reading is Fundamental, the nation's largest non-profit literacy organization. They provide book and other resources to over 4 million children nationwide each year. Over the last 20 years, Nestle has contributed more than $6 million to RIF, which recently lost its federal funding for the fiscal year of 2011.
"As a mother and avid reader, I am excited to be participating in 'The Nestle Share the Joy of Reading Program' to benefit Reading Is Fundamental," said Gellar. "Reading has had an enormous, positive impact on my life and I encourage people to support organizations such as RIF that work to ignite a child's hunger for knowledge and inspire imagination."
