With Ronda Rousey out of commission, it appears that Sports Illustrated went in search of a replacement for their ultra-fit, super muscular bikini model this year and frankly, I don't know if they could have picked better with their choice of Serena Williams. The 23-time Grand Slam winner positively slays when showing off boobs, booty and muscles in this sexy shoot, while bringing her ongoing message of body confidence to those who don't fit into the Upton or Palvin mold.
"I want people to come away with the fact that it’s okay to be comfortable in your body," Serena told the mag. "It's okay to look strong and to be sexy and to be a woman and to be unbreakable — all of those things. I really want to have that influence for people out there that have my body type. I want them to be like, 'I look good too.' That's what I'm hoping for."
I find Serena to be extremely sexy and I'm cool if I'm in a small group who agrees. While I understand that I might have that attraction to her because her body is built in a more traditionally masculine way (and that I'm attracted to men), I think it's also safe to say that Serena's strong attitude and absolute dominance in her field also have something to do with it as well.
