I'm not sure what the deal is with this new thing Summer Glau is doing. It's a website representing something called The Human Preservation Project, which challenges visitors to various puzzle games in order to stimulate the human mind. Sounds pretty intriguing until you realize that it's basically just a big promo site for 5 Gum, that company that makes those weird commercials with guys rolling around in ball bearings. I haven't had a chance to really get into site in depth yet, but from the intro video it looks like some kind of high production value puzzle game site that throws in a little Lost-like back story for fun. Summer seems to play a part in the story, as a "neuro-analyst" for the Project, assisting you in some way with your puzzle quest. I prefer crosswords myself, but who knows, this might be fun. Summer certainly makes a good tour guide, that's for sure. I'd gladly follow her lead.
