Speculation over the lyrics to Katy Perry's new single, "Part of Me," are being thoroughly investigated by the powers behind every gossip column and website around. Perry appeared on the 2012 Grammys to promote the new song off the next as-yet-unreleased album of hers, the first since her split with husband Russell Brand. As Katy sang, "This is the part of me that you're never gonna ever take away from me/Throw your sticks and stones, throw your bombs and your blows/But you're not gonna break my soul...", minds went furiously to work over what she meant. I just want to know what she was thinking when she wore the light blue, doily lace print dress during the arrivals. She'd shed that by the time that she hit her seat next to BFF Rihanna, looking far more polished in the gold gown (if not frizzed out by a crimping iron to the hair) and more prototypically Katy when she donned the rubber outfit to perform the new song.
