Did you enjoy the movie NICK & NORAH'S INFINITE PLAYLIST? Get ready for something that will aim to be similar, if its adaptation follows the book nearly as well as N&N did. With Victoria Justice doing lead female honors this time, movie makers are bringing the second co-written tome by awesome YA writers Rachel Cohn and David Levithan to life, under its intimidating title, NAOMI & ELY'S NO-KISS LIST.
Since I'm a fan of those two authors, I've read the book (and for those of you who enjoyed the Michael Cera/Kat Denning movie, I highly recommend reading the source material as the book adds to the appeal of what you saw in the movie) and know that our favorite Vicky won't go unkissed. The title applies to a pact that two young adults have made regarding their friendship, where hetero Naomi and homosexual Eli agree to not cross certain boundaries when it comes to romantic interests. Does it stay that simple? You can bet your Chapstick that it doesn't.
The former "Victorious" star wasn't the first choice for her role - the book was originally optioned into a movie back in 2008, when it initially was supposed to star Hayden Panettiere. Go figure!
