This week's dead horse on deck: Miley Cyrus' haircut!

I could have just attached these latest images of Miley Cyrus doing the thing that girls do when they get antsy - cut their hair off and then take a gajillion pictures of it to get people to stroke their egos - to the last post about her hair but I figured, EFF IT. Let's give this its own post, see what kind of shenanigans go down around it and perhaps have some fun flogging this soon-to-be pop culture murdered equine. I like her hair. I think it looks cute on her. I remember that she's only 19 years old, soon to be 20, and wants to do something young and dumb like any other female in her age demographic. I don't think she did it in some bizarre attempt to become relevant. I don't think she did it for the attention or to gain roles, the girl is a multimillionaire who could very, VERY comfortably live life on the residuals and other $$ she brings in from all the work she did before she got her first set of veneers. I am, shock of all shocks, defending Miley in a sense. She did a nice job mocking Lohan on the life-support system that is SNL (and even took a great ribbing knowing they'd bring out Vanessa Bayer to mock Cyrus' "Pretty Cool..." catch phrase) and while I might not know her personally and I might not care to spend what little free time I have with people who were born AFTER call waiting was invented, I still can honestly say that I think I'd have a fun time hanging out with the girl. So, uh... there!
