Has anyone been keeping up with "The Office"? Shockingly, I have. 'Shockingly' because I was positive it simply wouldn't interest me without Steve Carrell around to start the chaos. But chaos started on its own, and while it's certainly a different show, the cast still manages to entertain without him (at least thus far). One thing I haven't been all that nuts about in the current season (and by the way, SPOILERS), is the recent love affair going on between the new college-aged intern and Erin the receptionist, who's played by Ellie Kemper. It seems like something the writers planned on once they discovered Ed Helms wouldn't be around for each episode to play Andy Bernard. That whole thing just seems out-of-place and bothersome. Almost exactly like when Ellie bangs Channing Tatum during the credits of 21 JUMP STREET, but that was just silly. I guess some of it comes down to whether or not it's believable that all these young dudes find her that attractive. So what about you? If you were Ellie's boss, would YOU call into your office and shut the blinds?
