Your 2 Cents: What do you think of Evangeline Lilly's new look?

I really didn't believe the link when I found these pictures. See, the words are claiming that this is Evangeline Lilly at the premiere of THE HOBBIT down in New Zealand. The actress was cast as Tauriel in the second trilogy that Peter Jackson is doing about J.R.R. Tolkien's beloved little people and since she's wearing a wig for the role, the haircut can't be blamed on the production of the film. I know Alanis has been more often seen with flowing locks but Lilly here looks like a combination between the angst-ridden singer and Gina Gershon. Don't get me wrong, it's nice to see a woman who isn't Botoxing the f*ck out of her face but I hardly recognize the former "Lost" beauty. Seeing as how she's regularly shunned the Hollywood spotlight, this might be exactly why she went for such a radical change in appearance. Or perhaps as a new mom, it's just easier to maintain. Either way, I'm slightly aroused and totally confused. What do you think?

HOT....but not the haircut

I absolutely adore Evangeline Lilly ever since I first saw her on Lost, but I can't for the life of me figure out why she would ditch the beautiful hair she had before for this....thing. Her body is as hot as it's ever been (those legs!!) and I'm all for her doing what she wants with her body, buut lets hope this is a short phase

Not loving the haircut either. It will be temporary though, she won't keep it long, she can't like it better than the gorgeous head of hair she had. I don't like the color either (brassy), she has beautiful natural color, WTH? Why?

Save that haircut for later years...its really aging on her now. I think she looks ten years older with it. Cute, sure, but older.

Hot woman, horrible hair... I mean, horrible doesn't even begin to describe it, it's really terrible. Her hairstylist deserves jail time because of this!
