You know, I think I'm done calling Zooey Deschanel the queen of the hipsters, for a few reasons. First of all, no hipster tries this hard to look happy and gain attention. Second, no hipster is going to be as much of a shill for Fox and its various shindigs as Zooey is. She's literally at every little publicity thing they throw, like this one for some casino thing in Vegas. True hipsters would scoff at being involved in such things. No, I think Zooey's just a quirky girl who wants to keep her show alive for as long as possible, even as the cancel-happy Fox TV execs on high hurl down pitchforks of doom on all unsuspecting TV shows not currently blowing away the competition or without the benefit of being grandfathered in until the end of time. She has a right to be afraid. Zooey's cute, but even her cuteness is not enough to make that show tolerable.
