The X-Factor finale seems like a strange place for resident hipster icon Zooey Deschanel to show up and be adorable. Seems like she'd be more at home at some indie rock show held in the darkened, obscure club somewhere in the bohemian side of town. Must be her show and its affiliation with Fox, the home of superficial and shallow in the media world, that's influencing her toward more mainstream pursuits. I don't know what the hell happened on this show as far as who won or whatever, nor do I really care. All I've caught was that clip of the kid freaking out and having a tantrum when she lost. That's basically all I need to know of this show or what it's about.
