I usually think when people serenade each other it's possibly one of the cheesiest things imaginable. It's made even worse if you decide to go Paul McCartney style and write the lyrics yourself (what rhymes with lame?). That being said, if Zooey Deschanel ever decided to whip out a guitar and belt out a tune I'd probably be in utter awe (and drowning in a pool of manly tears). I've always thought Zooey was adorably cute in the past, but these photos of her performing with her band SHE & HIM at the Treasure Island Music Festival, blows her previous cute quotient out of the water. She looks like an angel belting out words filled with peace, love and happiness to all those surrounding her. I'm willing to bet when she took to the stage a rainbow opened up above her head and candy hearts fell to the ground during the duration of her performance.
Wow...I actually feel like going outside and hugging my neighbor at this point (regardless of his dog thinking my lawn is the land of Shit-topia).
Thank you for that breathe of peace Ms. Deschanel! I have no clue what your music sounds like, but in my imagination it's like Heaven on Earth!
