My theory is that Zooey Deschanel was attacked on her way to the premiere of her new movie MY IDIOT BROTHER by a group of cybernetic clowns who injected her with some clown virus that is slowly transforming her into one of them. As you can see, she appears to be in the process of clown assimilation in these pics. We can see pieces of her dress are starting to morph into that floppy crap clowns have around their collars. The rest of her dress is likewise changing to conform the baggy clown attire they're well known to prefer.
Also, her face is starting to take on clown like features, with an abundance of blush and strange, elongated eyelashes. I think I can even spot the beginnings of a red nose starting to emerge. Based on the rate of transformation and the many hours that have passed since these pics were taken, it's quite probably that Zooey has been fully assimilated into the clown collective. No doubt she is terrorizing small children in parks as we speak. It, sadly, may be too late for her now. We can only hope that someone got to her in time to prevent this terrible fate.
