Born in Allentown, Pennsylvania, Amanda Seyfried originally had intentions of attending Fordham University in New York before she was cast as the ditzy Karen in 2004's MEAN GIRLS. Prior to that, Seyfried had been a regular on the soap opera "As the World Turns," playing the second incarnation of Lucy Montgomery, as well as a brief stint on opposing soap, "All My Children." Amanda began with modeling, starting at age 11 with Bethlehem's Pro Model Agency and eventually with Wilhelmina agency in New York. Met current boyfriend Dominic Cooper while filming her break-out role in 2008's MAMMA MIA! Amanda gained fanboy popularity through her reoccurring role as Lilly on "Veronica Mars," and was the envy of many when she got to make-out with Megan Fox in 2009's JENNIFER'S BODY. Currently starring as one of Bill Paxton's wives on the polygamy television series, "Big Love," it seems that Amanda may never see out her hopes of finishing college and studying meteorology.
