With an Irish mother and a Puerto Rican father, Aubrey Plaza is used to being a little different. Born in Delaware, Plaza is the oldest of three sisters. She is a graduate of Ursuline Academy in 2002 and New York University's Tisch School of the Arts in 2006. While at NYU in 2004, Plaza suffered a stroke that caused temporary paralysis and expressive aphasia, but has fully recovered. After working with sketch comedy and stand-up, Plaza snagged a role in the 2009 movie FUNNY PEOPLE and was later seen in 2010's SCOTT PILGRIM VS THE WORLD. Currently starring as April Ludgate on the NBC sitcom, "Parks and Recreaction" from 2009-2012 as of the time of this writing. Will appear opposite Chris Evans in the 2013 movie A MANY SPLINTERED THING.
