Born Avril Ramona Lavigne in Belleville, Ontario, Canada, Lavigne moves to Manhattan when she was 16 years old and dropped out of high school in year 11 after she'd secured her first record deal. Her debut album, "Let's Go," featured the popular Top 40 hit "It's Complicated." Avril followed this up with other releases, including "Under My Skin," "The Best Damn Thing," "Goodbye Lullaby," and "My World." In 2006, she wed Blink 182's Deryck Whibley but later divorced from the musician in 2010. Has appeared in the movies FAST FOOD NATION and THE FLOCK, as well as being a voice actress in the 2006 animated film, OVER THE HEDGE. Currently engaged to Nickleback singer, Chad Kroeger, as of August 2012.
