Harris was born in Daytona Beach, Florida and began her acting career as a child, starting with appearances on daytime television in soap operas like "One Life to Live" when she was 7 years old. She continued her acting on the small screen, including memorable turns on the shows "Roseanne" and "Eerie, Indiana." Danielle has been a popular fixture in the horror movie genre since the age of 11, when she first began appearing in the HALLOWEEN series, beginning with part 4 and continuing on into part 5. She began a career as a voice actress during her early 20's, when she began voicing characters on shows like "The Wild Thornberrys" and "Father of the Pride." In more recent years Danielle has returned to horror movies, begin embraced by fans with her roles in HATCHET and the Rob Zombie reboots of the HALLOWEEN films. She is set to appear in 2011's NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD: ORIGINS 3D.
